Chic & basic was awesome. It was in the perfect location. We could stop by the room anytime because it was close to everything we were interested in. The beds were comfy, the breakfast was super convenient with lots of variety, and the internet access was great. We hung out at the bar across the street one night and had a blast and met some new friends. We even met anniversary twins at the bar (we were married the same day and same year). We would definitely stay there again next time we are in Porto!

Beautiful building, lovely staff but we had lots of problems from day one.
Unfortunately, it was not the smooth experience I would have expected in this category and did impact our stay.

The staff were nice and the hotel was clean and functional.
The location was quiet and about 20 mins walk from the main areas.
We felt more like 4 star than 5, but it served our purpose well
Indoor pool no kids after noon. Outdoor pool and bar nice but small.
Spa not really 5 star.
