The property is right in the center of Strasbourg and therefore the sights. Staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms have all the facilities you would expect.

Small room, room amenities lacking, staff polite but not accommodating

Our room had Little rocks on floor/staff was rude and did not offer to help with train/ staff forgot to order our car- once really ordered not big enough for 4 bags like we asked. Would not recommend

The least I expect from any hotel is to be able to control the room temperature. I followed the instructions on the thermostat as I wanted the room to be more comfortable and not so cold. I then went to bed expecting it to work, it did nothing to increase the temperature and I was cold most of the night. I did not call reception as I did not want someone coming to the room at that time. Next day I was told the hotel heating was OFF and offered a fan heater. This is not acceptable let alone from a supposedly 5 - star hotel. I asked for a room rate reduction and got NOTHING. Needless to say I will not be returning. Other bad points - 35 Euro breakfast must be the most expensive ever (I did NOT try it) - so for two that's 70 Euros. I had a good 2 course evening meal for about the same price (NOT in the hotel of course). The Jacuzzi was only just warm enough and so not really as expected. The staff were helpful in other respects but they need to get the basics rights. Location is good although if using Uber you have to walk the last part with your luggage.

This hotel is an epic battle between a genuine 5 star staff and an aging physical plant that cries out for renewed cap ex commitment from its owners. The staff manages to hold the facility together for the most part, but it can't go on much longer without significant renovation outlay. Without such extraordinary staff effort, this is currently a 3 star property.

I loved this boutique hotel. The staff were present 24 hr per day and were very helpful. They made excellent restaurant recommendations - one is right across the street. The location is ideal - both near the train station and major sights of Strasbourg.
