Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche All inclusive Holidays

A beautifully situated and well appointed boutique hotel graced with courteous, efficient, multilingual staff. The pool and decking is framed with magnificent Mediterranean pines and rosemary. Gym is well equipped and the breakfast buffet abundant. Bedlinen is the finest, softest most silken cotton and the pillows provide a sweet slumber. Clientele in July was a mix of Portuguese ( a good sign when you stay in a country that its own people choose it) and some English, Irish and Italians. Guests were mostly well behaved.

+ Nice area with lots of restaurants within walking distance and nice beach. - We payed for sea view but got given a room where the view was blocked by a part of the building so couldn't really see the sea. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion weren't provided. Complimentary water bottles weren't provided. Have to pay for sunbeds on the beach each day. Door for the steam room was broken so all the steam would escape. The coffee machines for breakfast made very watery coffees. Bed was also very lumpy and uncomfortable.

Stayed here in August with my husband and 6 year old for 12 nights. The rooms are modern, clean and beds very comfortable. The pool was the highlight, it's huge, with 2 smaller kids pools. Plenty of sun loungers and nice fresh towels every day - so no need to bring any. The breakfast was fantastic! We paid for the buffet one evening which was very expensive and I wasn't impressed with the food at all. The Italian restaurant was nice but overpriced. The hotel is located next to the beach which is great but we discovered all of the sun loungers had reserved signs on them so we couldn't stay long with no shade. There really isn't much around the hotel at all, we ended up paying quite a bit to go into albuferia in the evenings. Overall we loved the hotel itself but wouldn't go back due to the location and very overpriced food and drinks.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the newly opened Viceroy Ombria Algarve, and it exceeded our expectations in nearly every way. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome—genuinely friendly, attentive, and always eager to help without being intrusive. The architecture is truly a standout feature: modern yet rooted in the local aesthetic, with beautiful design touches throughout that made the entire property feel luxurious and unique. The pools were absolutely incredible—serene, well-designed, and perfect for relaxing under the Algarve sun. The entire hotel is spotlessly clean, and every space feels modern and updated, clearly reflecting the care that went into its recent opening. We also spent some time at the spa, which was nothing short of perfection. From the ambiance to the quality of treatments, it was a top-tier wellness experience. The on-site restaurants were also excellent. Each meal we had was flavorful and beautifully presented, with a variety of options that catered to both local and international palates. One important note for future guests: the hotel is located in the countryside, so it’s a good 30–45 minutes by car to the coastal Algarve towns and beaches. A rental car is definitely recommended if you plan to explore beyond the resort. I found that there was not much comfort in the room during my stay. The service in the dining restaurant was disappointing, and I felt that there was a lack of respect for customers. I ordered dinner, and although I requested water, it was never brought to me until after I finished my meal and left.

Great facilities and close to the beach

It was cozy and very close to many restaurants and grocery stores The staff were extremely helpful I usually don’t bother with ratings but this place definitely deserves some accolades 👏👏👏

Good base for the area, car recommended as limited options for dining in the local area. Rooms are great, cleaned daily. Pool areas are good, not crazy busy, plenty of sun loungers.
