This place is a true gem. The photos do not do it justice. A must stay! I will be returning.

Staff were really helpful and attentive. Room lovely and clean and location was perfect to be able to walk to everything.

The property was absolutely beautiful. Our host (who used to be a teacher!)was very gracious and we were greeted enthusiasticly and with a tea and a desert. Our host did an amazing job helping us book our excursions to the Ouzud Waterfalls and The Agafay Desert for a camel ride + dinner and a special show. The bed was comfortable and the soap and shampoo smelled great. The daily Moroccan Breakfast on the rooftop was delicious. The rooftop is a great space to sit and enjoy the breeze as well. The waitstaff was friendly and prompt. The special Moroccan tea was itself an experience. We also loved the little cat that lives at the rooftop!! The small pool was really nice and cold. It was great to cool off after being out all day in the heat. It was a little noisy on the first floor as our room was in the courtyard but not so much it disturbed my sleep. I would 100% stay here again. Actively dreaming about returning here for the 2030 World Cup! It was an amazing experience to be able to walk through the marketplace from our hotel and the entire staff were absolutely amazing and courteous. Much love from America. Shokran! En shalla!!!

Everything was great!

The stay was wonderful, the atmosphere was great, the food, the parties, the rooms, everything was clean, the food was delicious, and the pools were more than wonderful. Next time it will be my first choice.

Beautiful 5 star property. All staff were amazing especially Sarah who checked us in the hotel efficiently. Sarah was amazing and helped us check in at 12:00 when our check in was supposed to be at 15:00. All facilities were amazing including pools , rooms and breakfast buffet . So much variety for everyone to choose from . Will definitely be coming back to Marrakech just for Savoy Le Grande Hotel !

Our stay at the hotel was unfortunately disappointing due to a series of issues, particularly with the rooms. We had to change rooms three times. The first room had an old bathtub instead of the Italian shower we had booked, and it was only accessible by walking through an active construction area. The second room was on the first floor next to the security office, which offered no privacy, and the balcony window was broken and couldn’t be opened. The third room was slightly better, but we still struggled to open the balcony door, and the process to get this final room was long and frustrating. We also experienced a water leak in the toilet. Despite requesting help from the front desk, no one came, so we had to shut off the water ourselves. The TV was not a smart TV and didn’t work until we requested a technician, which added to the stress. The food was another low point. It was repetitive, lacked variety, and had little flavor. The Moroccan cuisine, in particular, was poorly prepared and did not reflect the richness of the country’s food culture. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially those in the restaurant, at the pool, in housekeeping, and the entertainment team. Despite the friendly staff, the hotel's room issues, poor maintenance, and bland food make it hard to recommend

So I will start with the staff. 10/10 absolutely brilliant and caring staff, they were helpful and kind and always had a smile on their face. Initially when we arrived they gave us a room with a king size bed when we requested 2 single beds but upon asking they asked us to wait for an hour and it would be ready which was convenient because we had time to go get dinner as it was late. In terms of the room its was spacious and however there was a few things about the room which we did not like. The shower did not have a door or a net it was like a open shower which meant that water would drip onto the main floor of the bathroom. Also there was no windows in our room or toilet which was not ideal because at night it would get hot and the AC was not great at keeping the room cool but i dont khow if it was because of the temp of the country itself or the AC. The jacuzzi was a nice touch and used it a few times , you have to let the staff know 2 hours in advance to warm it up but even then it did not seem as hot as a jacuzzi could be and it was not the cleanest but that could be because it was on the roof so open to flys and pieces of leafs. Location wise it was extremely ideal, literally a 5 minute walk to the main markets shops and for any excursions we booked externally the meeting points where a 5 minute walk max and compared to the other riads ( morrocon hotels) it was not secluded and felt extremely safe.

I don't know if the rooms in all riads are so sensitive to noise. I'm not sensitive, but the rooms are really very soundproof. Especially if you stay under the terrace, you can hear the chairs being pushed back and forth all the time. I can't understand why the riad managers don't do anything about this. The rooms are really very small and unfortunately musty due to humidity (we had to change rooms). The staff are really nice and make an effort. Unfortunately, they can't help the circumstances. The location is good. The breakfast has very little choice and is almost always the same. The riad managers can certainly make a big difference here with small changes. However, first impressions of the area are quite a shock because the RIAD is situated in quite a dark, narrow alley not far from the chaos of the Medina. But for visitors like me who want to experience the real Marrakesh I think this property has the right contrast between outside and inside. In January, breakfast outside was a little chilly but the warmth of the staff more than made up for it. This RIAD has a great team of people who clearly enjoy working together and who genuinely take a personal interest in their visitors and value tourism in general. The RIAD is decorated in authentic Moroccan style. An atmosphere of tranquility, relaxation and calm inside prepares the visitor for the startling sensations, sounds and smells that await outside. Be prepared to experience the real Marrakesh!
