Good location and comfortable stay

Great location, 7min walking to train station, close to the city center. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There is also a piano in the lobby, open to guests, it’s a big plus for the staying experience

The hotel is easy to find if coming by train. It's just outside the station. The room was very dated. Nice brick work that was not enhanced by the colour scheme. Air con was good. Bed comfortable. Free bottled water and a coffee machine. It is barely a 4 star though.

Nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff, fairly close to the station and some good restaurants nearby. The decor won’t be to evenryone’s taste but the room was spacious, comfortable and well appointed. Good quality breakfast with lots of options and the gym was decent. Only small complaint was the noisy lifts if your room happens to be near them. They were very loud and sounded like a door slamming every time the lift doors opened. Was a bit disruptive but not too bad with earplugs in.

LIKED: Great clean rooms very modernized with good closet space. We got the balcony so I could grab a cigar at night. Great towels, a fabulous bathtub and safe / coffee amenities. Staff super professional and kind and English speaking if required. Very short walking distance to Colmar Centre where there is tons of shopping and bars and restaurants. Colmar absolutely surprised us and the James Boutique Hotel was awesome place to stay. Highly recommend. DISLIKED: Not a thing!

The location and beauty of the hotel is excellent but the staff is a bit abrupt, dismissive and not very welcoming. They made us feel like we were inconveniencing them each tine we approached the front desk. The young lady was better but it did take away from the experience
