Central location - within 10-15 mins you are by the river, and just a few minutes away from the famed Lello library and Sao Bento station . It is steps away from the Aliados metro - which is great if you are taking transit to/from the airport. The room was clean and quiet which I appreciate. I like that it is located away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist area. Would happily stay here again.

Can’t speak highly enough about our stay at GA Palace. Absolutely beautiful property, super convenient location to walk into town, the breakfast buffet each morning was delicious, and the staff was so helpful. Special shout out to Ines at the front desk, who was so kind when I arrived, sick, after a long travel day. Without even asking, she upgraded our room and sent up soup. What an angel. We will definitely be back!
