This resort was very grand at one time, but this is not the time. It’s extremely dated, but yet somewhat comfortable. It should be noted that the beach is completely usable. So if you’re looking to enjoy the beach, this is not the place for you. The pool area is very nice and very well kept. The food has to be one of the worst food I have ever had at a resort, but there’s some gems outside the resort. I advised to research high-end restaurants, we did that and found some really great ones. The bed was not great, but it wasn’t bad either, along with the pillows.It was an Extremely low-key restful long weekend. Checking out the town was an added perk. It was very safe and extremely pretty.

The waterfront room and view clearly carry the experience. If the purpose of the trip was to wake up to water and unwind visually, that’s a real plus. A great view can elevate an entire stay. That said, decor was ok at best and not the cleanest. View is a luxury.
