Staff is excellent, professional, and welcoming. The property itself is a bit worn and I could hear every sound from the room next door through the wall. But it's close to the train station.

We got such a nice welcome on check-in. Stacey was so friendly and spent time giving us recommendations and tips for our stay! The room was lovely, super comfy bed, and everything was really clean. The hotel itself is perfectly placed for the beach, restaurants, cafes and 7 min walk to the train station. We loved it here! Would love to come back

I stayed at Hotel de la Fontaine for 3 nights and had such a wonderful experience. The location couldn’t be better — just a few steps from the beach and the famous Promenade des Anglais, and also close to plenty of restaurants, cafés, and shops. It’s ideal if you like exploring Nice on foot.
My room was not huge but very comfortable, spotless, and nicely decorated. The bed was comfy, and the bathroom was clean and modern. Everything felt well cared for and thoughtfully maintained.
The staff were genuinely friendly, always smiling, and happy to help with recommendations or directions. They really made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived.
The atmosphere of the whole hotel is peaceful and cozy, a perfect little haven in the city.
For the price and the location, I think it’s excellent value.
I’d definitely stay here again the next time I visit Nice. 🌸
