A great hotel in downtown San Diego.
Staff was friendly and room was clean. The beds were comfortable. Only complain wa seine of the towels had stains. I also wished they had a mini fridge, I requested one but they didn’t have any available.

I never received the prosecco that was supposed to be in our room when we arrived until I called three times. The phones didn’t work in the rooms and air conditioner was soo loud and annoying. The pools were both packed and not one chair available. Overall we were sadly disappointed.

central downtown location . the sofia hotel cost less that most downtown hotels .
older , historic hotel but very clean rooms and entry .
the gym was nice but very hot …..
the room was small and you could not open any windows so we had to rely on air conditioning the whole stay which was a bit noisy .
