Costa Azul Beach Holidays

Room is very small but everything was clean. Staff was friendly.

We loved our stay here. The hotel is located right off the designer shopping district. We had a short walk from the metro( albeit uphill ) to the hotel. We had a spacious suite with a view of the city. Its a leisurely 15m walk to the city center where restaurants and shopping abound. This week-long trip coincided with my wife's birthday The day of her birthday we planned to get a bottle of wine on our walk back to the hotel, but the stores were closed. Imagine our surprise when, upon returning to our room, we found waiting for us champagne on ice, sparkling water, and something under a silver platter, which I declined to tamper with. I called the front desk to inform them of the apparent mistake, only to find out they research which guests will be experiencing a birthday during their stay, and send them a surprise! I now felt safe to uncover the dish (red velvet layer cake) and opened the envelope recognizing my wife's birthday, and thanking us for choosing their hotel. Best stay ever!

Beautiful Hotel, centrally located! The guided tour of the Roman ruins was the highlight of the stay!

Lovely stay for a lo no weekend. Didn’t manage to use the spa but wish I had more time to visit it. Gym was well equipped but small. Great breakfast and service from the staff. Nice touch to have some candy and infused fruit water the lobby.

We had a fantastic stay. Our room with two terraces was spectacular. The light and outdoor space in the heart of the city was so special it made us not want to leave the hotel! The location was close to the heart of the shopping area and we walked to lunches and dinners almost everyday. The staff was superb. Always greeting us with a smile and happily answering all of our tourist questions. They even substituted the bottle of wine with a wonderful fruit assortment for us non-drinkers. A very nice touch indeed. Classy operation from top to bottom, without any hint of pretense or stuffiness. We can’t wait to return.

Fabulous location, very comfortable and spacious rooms, a full and quality breakfast, extremely pleasant staff. What’s not to like? This is our go-to hotel in Lisbon.
