Langø Beach Holidays

We stayed three nights there. Everything about this place was wonderful. However, on Saturday they have “live music” on the top floor of the building. We asked for a quiet room and they gave us one that was maximally away from the noise, but we could still hear the beat until 2 am on Sunday morning. It was pure torture. We couldn’t sleep and then had trouble sleeping for hours afterward. We basically didn’t sleep that night. So if your stay is on a Saturday, and you want to use your room to sleep and not to just store your luggage, look for a room elsewhere. Otherwise, the place IS quiet and nice.

Staff at the hotel were great - very welcoming, friendly & to help in all areas. Check in was good, room ready when we arrived an hour early which was great. Breakfast was very good, lots of choice, regularly replenished however on our first morning it would have been helpful to have the process explained very briefly as we almost used the wrong coffee machine! Bar was nice & staff were really friendly. Room was fine, bedroom area was ok although a mirror in this area would be helpful as the bathroom was far too hot to get ready in. The whole room was quite warm although opening windows & closing curtains as soon as we arrived helped, as did the fan in the room - without this it would be very uncomfortable. Bathroom was a little dated in design although it was clear the shower, taps etc had been updated to a rainfall shower which was great, the tiles etc just looked dated alongside the newer fixtures. A few areas could benefit from a deeper clean eg the vanity mirror was dusty. The safe didnt work so we asked reception to look at it. It seemed as though we had timed the system out but even after they looked at it whilst we were out, it still didnt work. Housekeeping was at request which was fine as we only stayed 3 nights. Reception had extra towels, tea/milk etc so we just asked for those as we needed them. Overall it was a good stay, decent location, and we like to explore on foot so that was good for us. Communal areas nicely decorated.
