Newly renovated, friendly and helpful staff. Very clean. Somewhat tricky to access property due to construction.

Awesome service. Communicate via whatsapp was awesome. They respond to concerns, not immediately, but in reasonable time. Breakfast was awesome. Each day you can fill out breakfast items for the following morning. Pretty good selection. If you are unabme to fill out the breakfast form in time, they'll send you what was requested the previous day. Only downside, is the lack of parking. If you can snag a spot on the 'no pay' parking street across from the building, you can leave your car behind with a piece of mind that it won't get ticketed. I would say 95% of the city is paid parking with various limitations!

The staff were great and the hotel was generally nice. The AC wasn't working for the first few days of our stay and the staff did relocate us to another room which was slightly cooler. The indoor pool was also nice but we had to pay 5 euros each to use it and had to purchase swimming caps for 5 euros too. Location is 45min-1 hour form Porto and that journey got a bit arduous every day. The local area around the hotel is a bit dead but there's a decent outlet mall about 15 mins away.
