Appalachian Plateau Beach Holidays

The staff were helpful after arriving in my room and finding it wasn’t clean. I was upgraded for the inconvenience, which was greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, overall the hotel is in need of deep cleaning and updating. Surfaces were cleaned well but no attention to corners, baseboards, sofa bed etc. Hotel lactation was convenient for our stay.

Clean room. Smaller than I thought it would be and the beds as well. But it was fine for a weekend stay.

Staff gave us a card and room number to a room that was not cleaned yet and they had the room all out of whack with a cleaning cart just outside the door and the door wide open. Staff gave us another key card for another room and that key did not work. Staff said the door lock must be dead so the maintenance man changed out the lock batteries and our card still did not work. The maintenance man got us a new card and fixed the issue.
