The hotel doesn’t have a drop off area or any luggage trolleys, pity the receptionist was curt, abrupt, non informative and dismissive. The hotel appears old and struggling to keep up with travellers requirements. The room was old cashing a good size and clean with aircon. The bathroom was big but the window didn’t work and was screwed open, I asked straight away for the window to be fixed and a handle put on the window as it was also missing. I was told the engineer would come but six days later nothing changed. I saw no management at all. The breakfast staff and cleaners were all delightful. The biggest problem was the pool was discoloured and cloudy and staff had put up a sign (probably weeks before) advising it was still safe to use. We and several others were not going to risk health conditions. The weather was 35 degree plus and we desperately need a pool. In the end we travelled about 15 minutes outside Castelsardo and found lovely beaches. I would recommend using a different hotel. The other reviews said about paper thin walls, this is true. Good point was the seaview and the breakfast.

Clean place, well located - a 5 mins walk to the Center. Besides 2 supermarkets. A small. Hot practical gym.

We had a warm welcome and the hotel looked fantastic. During our stay the staff were most helpful with directions, reservations and advice on ferry booking etc. Our room was nice, really clean and well maintained. However, we felt unable to use the pool and the sunbeds because after sitting by the pool on the first day we were unable to sit and enjoy as other residents with large groups of children were so noisy and screaming. I appreciate children make noise when they play but we came for peace and quiet and this was not the place for that. The hotel had a lovely restaurant, good breakfast and great service.

As someone who has travelled to over 41 countries and stayed everywhere from some of the world’s finest luxury hotels, including Four Seasons, to simple three-star properties, I can confidently say that a hotel’s star rating is never what defines a great stay it’s the service. Unfortunately, my experience at Santa Pedra was one of the worst I’ve had. From the moment I arrived, I was disappointed. The property has stairs throughout, yet there was no offer of assistance with luggage, despite this being a basic level of hospitality that many hotels provide. The rooms are incredibly poorly soundproofed. Every morning I was woken by noise from surrounding rooms, and on arrival I was greeted by loud drilling and construction work taking place on the property. I had not been informed prior to my stay that these works were occurring. I was initially told it would only be for one day, however the same loud banging and disruption continued each morning. The staff carrying out the work were also extremely loud and showed little consideration for guests trying to enjoy their stay. The service throughout my stay was equally disappointing. Staff were dismissive when asked simple questions, and despite requesting an iron on four separate occasions, it was never delivered to my room. Sadly, this stay fell well below expectations. For starters, the air-conditioning did not work in the entire hotel and they kept checking people in and making everybody miserable. They didn’t disclose it but they checked us in anyway. We had to fight hard and long to get our return. We had 11 Knight stay and it was over US$4500. There was also a mold in our room near the air conditioner vent and on the ceiling.. They moved this to another room, but after one night we retreated out of the hotel to check in somewhere else. The first night I actually slept in the car instead of the hotel. It was so miserably hot. And on top of it, Expedia was not very nice to us either, and I almost felt like they were in the sack with this Hotel wanting us to give up so they could keep the balance of our money. I’ve never had to fight so hard to get a refund from the hotel. They ended up even charging us one night to sleep in the heat or I slept in the car. My wife slept in the heat.

We stayed here for 3 nights as a base to easily get to Maddelena or Santa Teresa and it was a great location for that. Has a nice calm beach in front which is well maintained, a good pool that was easy to grab a lounge. The food was also great. Rooms were clean and modern, staff was super helpful.
