Caye Caulker Marine Reserve Beach Holidays

The resort has the potential to be a 5 star resort. It is lacking the polish. Overall it is a beautiful resort, loved the organic garden, and the pool is very nice. Maintainance equipment was left out through out the despite work being done for the day. The main chef was amazing but his back up needs a lot more training and experience. Noticable difference in preparation of meals. Water pressure consistently low and hard to get hot water.

This is a very pleasant and well-run outfit. However, we were disappointed by the beach area, which wasn't really a beach but felt more like a concrete slab with a thin kayer of sand spread on top. Sadly, the shore all down Ambergris Caye was choked with a foul smelling algae bloom which made it impossible to swim and ruined the entire island atmosphere. The location is ok if you have wheels, but if you don't it's too far away from the shops, which is a real bother seeing as the hotel doesn't do breakfast.

This resort was absolutely amazing! Staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The food options could have been more diverse but overall a great experience

Very quiet, clean and centrally located between Secret Beach and San Pedro. Property managers, groundskeeper and housekeeper amazing people. We will be staying again in May!!

This place is the ultimate place in san Pedro for a solid relax and rest vacation. I found sand and sky on Expedia after looking for a peaceful location outside of town. It consists of just 6 caisitas on the beach and because of that, the quality and hospitality is truly next level. The room itself is not only visually stunning on the outside but it's cozy on the inside. A comfortable bed, beautiful sun lit shower, and it's extremely clean !!! The owner Ronna went above and beyond when it came to all of the details. We had a pot of coffee every morning along with freshly baked pastries ( she's talented ) and fruit. It's just enough to get you ready to start your day. She went above and beyond with all of the details ( makeup towels, Turkish towels for the beach, golf cart waiting for us at the resort , recommendations for the best restaurants for local delicious food ) She's also saved my birthday celebration after I almost made a very silly mistake. The goal for the day was to snorkel and see a sea turtle. She made a quick phone call and we were able to get into a company ( and yes I saw the sea turtle 🐢❤️) Watching the stars at night while in bed and waking up gently to the sun each morning was the cherry on top. I'm back home and feel regulated and rested. Thank you Ronna for your hospitality ( from your fellow Canadian)
