Isla Caja de Muertos Beach Holidays

Hotel was tired in need of updating. Many items worn or broken. Staff shortage and some staff not fully trained. Only one elevator working for a majority of the stay. 2nd elevator did work some of the time but 3rd out completly. Lizards kept going in the pool almost daily which closed the pool for 3 hours each time. Obviously a problem and should be addressed. If it was not for the excellant bartenders at the moon bar in the center lobby the rating would have only been two stars.

Everything about this Hotel is amazing!

What a friendly attentive staff. Room is very clean and big

Pros: clean, excellent location, fabulous view, floor to ceiling window with an ocean view, quality, bedding, friendly staff, restaurant is decent, great service from the employees. Cons: no balcony off of the room. The lobby area smells like sewer, like there is a dry floor drain trap somewhere emitting sewer orders into the space. Worn out carpet in the hallways. Overcrowded pool area because they sell day passes to people that aren’t staying at the hotel, not enough pool lounges everybody reserves them with just a towel. The maid would turn down the air conditioning every time to 62° so you froze to death when you got back to your room. Parking is $30 a day. No refrigerator in the room just a 60° mini bar.

Love the room. It was clean and spacious and quiet. Our balcony overlooked the water. It was beautiful. The hotel itself was wonderful. The restaurant and shopping was great.

Nothing much to do there or around the resort prices were very high for what you got wasn’t too impressed will not be returning

Great hotel with a beautiful beach! Will definitely come back again.
