"This is describes as a resort.. it is not. They share a pool area with the embassy suites next door. Everything here was a hassle.. from trying to reach the front desk, to parking, even down to getting towels. Nothing here is relaxing. The overall vibe is low-end, out dated, and loud. Not one thing here could be describes and nice, relaxing, or luxurious. We booked for 4 nights and left after 2. I didn't care about the money lost. It was worth it to leave and head east to the much nicer Hyatt Regency. Would not recommend this hotel. "

"Really enjoyed our stay at The Armas, fantastic location in Old San Juan. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Shopkeeper Mason was super helpful, even provided us all kinds of ideas and locations to visit during our stay!! If your near the hotel stop by his shop, you won't be disappointed!!"

"Cool building, good location to go see the “Old Town” and the staff were great. The beds were not very comfortable and with the property being right by several bars and tends to be loud at night even during the week. "

"The property was great the kids loved the pool and my husband and I loved the casino. It was close to everything and the shuttle service was excellent. Everyone was great help from the front desk to the staff. We had a great time"
