The location is very central to downtown Reykjavik. Everything is within reasonable walking distance. We told the hotel that we were there for our engagement and the hotel accommodated us with pastries and rose petals. The bar and restaurant was very delicious. If you bring a car the parking is a little confusing and tight but very reasonable.

Solo traveller - Warm welcome. Everywhere clean. Very comfortable room. Lovely staff. Excellent choices for breakfast and dinner, good quality food. Prices are high but that is the same wherever you go in Iceland. Lovely spa and pool. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
One thing I would point out, you must book a seat on the return bus to the bus station/airport. Don’t, like me, assume the bus will just turn up. If you don’t book it with reception it won’t come.
The hotel is adjacent to a small private airport. I didn’t experience any disturbance from it.

Heated floors was one of the best things I’ve experienced with this hotel. Staff was very friendly as well. Room was clean and tidy for the days I stayed over.
