This is a very quaint and historic place to stay, and it does have atmosphere. However, the single room I stayed in had nowhere, apart from one hanging rail, to put any clothes. OK, for one night maybe but not for several. Maybe a bigger room would have had this facility? Not sure. No safe in room either, and very little space in the room.
There is a pleasant small side room where one can sit to read and relax, but nowhere else. Breakfast is adequate but the room in which it is served is not really sufficient for the numbers on a weekend. Much queueing and hovering for tables going on.
Safety is good, with a key entry system at the front gates and the area itself is always busy. Lots of decent restaurants and shops only a short distance away.
If you plan to stay here, opt for a larger room would be my advice, even if you are on your own.
