Broomes Island Cheap Holidays

The hotel is fine. It's a nice Westin. The disappointment was that there was apparently a charge for parking in the big open parking lot, which would not have been a big deal if only I had been informed about it at any point. The front desk didn't mention it; the check-in paperwork didn't mention it; there was no gate or sign (that I saw) or other indication that we were parking in a controlled, paid lot. The only indication was a notification I received in the mail from "Towne Park" with a demand for $75. Park" with a picture of my car and license plate along with a demand for $75, which included $18 for the actual parking plus penalties. I don't know if the sign was the size of a postage stamp, but I certainly never saw it and I would have expected the staff to warn me when I checked in if there was such a penalty for not seeing the sign and for parking in what looked like a basic, open lot for customers.

I had a family emergency and asked the front desk if I could have a refund even though I was there for about 2 hours. They said they would definitely look into it. I’ve tried contacting them repeatedly but have not received any response.

We came for BTS concert. Everything was great. Restaurant staff was so gracious.

The hotel felt brand new and the room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was friendly and efficient and made sure we had everything we needed. The neighborhood has some great dining options and the Sagamore Distillery is across the street.
