The property and staff were excellent except for the restaurant manager and staff who were rude when we asked for an indoor table for a meeting.

The property is one of our favourites.. We used to stay at Cove so this was our first time we stayed at Royal . The property needs a bit of an upgrade .. We got a very decent room and very happy but overall the hotel is in need of a minor upgrade to see p it uptodate.

I was staying for the second time at Bahia Ambar. This time the seaweeds spoiled my stay, it was all over the beach and tractors were taking it from one huge pile to another. Because i wasn't able to seim i got overheated and got horrible migraine for 3 days. The water at the pool was hot like in jacuzzi, so it was impossible to cool off. Also the shower by the coco station didn't work. The rooms are getting outdated. I liked the suff though, they brought a pillow top mattress per my request. The food in the buffet was good, but no any chocolate deserts. At French restaurant the air-conditioning didn't work so i didn't enjoy the food because of the heat exhaustion.

Samuel Enrique treated us very well and he was amazing to be around. I highly recommend him as our butler to anybody that visits. Excellent service.
