The location was great. The bed was comfortable. The staff was nice, but seems like they were running a bare bones operation. There were only two people we ever saw. We didn’t like the breakfast service in the adjoining restaurant, so we went elsewhere for breakfast. Overall it was fine, nothing special.

I stayed in room 102 for 4 nights. The bedding was clean thankfully but the floors weren't very clean. The first thing I noticed in the bathroom was a giant clump of hair sticking out the back of the hair dryer which was attached to the wall, absolutely disgusting. My safe didn't work and when the staff member checked it advised it would be fixed the next day, it wasn't. He also removed the clump of hair from the dryer and took pictures. I then noticed the light switches beside the bed at both sides didn't work or were hanging off. Theres also no outlets beside the bed which isnt ideal. The aircon switches off automatically when you open the door to the balcony but doesn't automatically come back on again when closed so if you get too hot on the balcony the room isn't cool for you to go in. The plus side is the location is great.

Wow! This property is truly a gem. From the moment you walk onto the property you quickly realize that the pristine attention to detail, the committment to top notch guest service and the transformation of this historic building have landed you in a little oasis in the coolest city. The location was perfection, walking/biking distance to everything you could need. The staff were very attentive, the breakfast in the room was beautiful and generous. The room itself was so special, we would love to go back and experience all of the other guest rooms! We would highly recommend to everyone and cannot wait to be back on our next trip through the city.

Absolutely unique property and very lovely room in a wonderful location. Perhaps a few amenities would have made our stay 5 Star, such as an in room coffee maker ( The French press was a disaster and coffee tasted like mud.) An in room mini fridge would have been helpful to chill the complimentary waters. Bathrobes would have been greatly appreciated to go along with the lovely slippers. The staff was exceptionally nice.

The room was very clean. The staff were very helpful. It was a hotel that reflected the spirit of Amsterdam. I loved it.
