Nice hotel close to the beach. Abit far from the old town if you plan to spend everyday around there

This hotel is really superb. I have always previously stayed at the MC in San Sebastián; my friend suggested I try this one, and it was fantastic in every respect. We have already booked another stay.

Overall a nice hotel, clean, friendly, and with good AC and water pressure. However, two things were annoying: 1) the internet in our room was so weak as to be unusable. 2) the lobby is perfumed which made it hard for us to use it.

It’s a good hotel but the focus is more on style than comfort. Our room was 315 Euros a day and looked great in the pictures with a terrace and a view. In reality, the room had was quite small, the “terrace” was a balcony the width of a chair, that looked directly into the building across the street. The refrigerator was so packed with stuff they are trying to sell you that we couldn’t even fit in a drink to have after a hot day outside. The counter space also had all kinds of snacks laid out all over it that they are trying to sell you. There’s a gym, but it was in the basement and too hot to actually do a workout.

First impressions on arrival were 'Wow this place is very nice' The staff were immediately helpful and spoke excellent English. Our room was spotlessly clean and looks like it's been refurbished recently. The bed firm but comfortable. I didn't watch the TV but a large one is there if you need it. The bathroom is quality, the shower absolutely the best. A proper rain shower, I liked very much. Breakfast was superb, great coffee and everything you could want to eat or drink is there for you to take as much as you like. The location is about 50 metres from the sea front where there is a large beach and lovely easy to swim in section of Atlantic coast. All in all this has been one of the best experiences for holidaying. I hope to return.
