Caribbean Cheap Holidays

It is very disappointing to write this because Atlantis has always been one of our favorite places and we have visited many times over the years. Unfortunately, the Royal Tower is really showing its age, especially in the rooms. The biggest issue is the strong damp, stuffy, moldy smell. We traveled with four families in four separate rooms, and every room had the same odor. We experienced the same issue when we stayed two years ago, so this does not seem temporary or isolated. This is not a faint or subtle smell. It is strong and immediately noticeable. By the very next morning, several of us were already feeling stuffy and experiencing allergy symptoms. The staff was very sweet and tried to accommodate us by offering different rooms, but unfortunately, those rooms smelled bad as well. Not all elevators were in service either, which created huge lines during check in, check out, and peak times. For us, the moldy smell is a deal breaker. At the price you pay to stay at the Royal Tower, the condition of the rooms is simply not acceptable. We truly hope Atlantis addresses these issues because until then, it is difficult for us to justify staying there again.

Staff were friendly and attentive. The food was better than expected. Concierge service was hit or miss. There wasn’t a hair dryer in the room and we called for one twice and never got one. You have to be there when you request concierge service or they don’t deliver it. Housekeeping was great! We would definitely go back!

We had such an amazing stay at the Holiday Inn Resort Aruba! 🌴☀️ From the beautiful location right on Palm Beach to the friendly and welcoming staff, everything made our honeymoon feel extra special. The resort was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We loved being steps away from the beach, enjoying the gorgeous Aruba sunsets, and having so many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The staff truly made the experience memorable—they were kind, helpful, and always made us feel welcome. The location was perfect for exploring Aruba while still having a beautiful place to come back to and unwind. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our honeymoon. Aruba was absolutely beautiful, and our stay at the Holiday Inn Resort made it even more special. We would definitely come back! ❤️🌴🇦🇼
