The proximity of the cathedral, Nuestra Señora de Begoña, was an added attraction since it was originally named the Cathedral of Santiago (St. James) and the old “Camino” in the 1500’s.

The staff was very helpful and most spoke English. Breakfast was good, bar was excellent, dinner was excellent. The room was clean and about the only thing I didn’t like about this hotel was the shower, which seems insignificant, but water leaked into the bathroom from every shower, which was annoying.
