Had a great room with access to a rooftop patio and a spectacular view

Absolutely amazing. The view, the service, the location, the room (with the high ceilings), the bubble bath, the honey at breakfast. Everything was absolutely amazing.

"I recently stayed at your hotel and, unfortunately, my experience with the customer service was extremely disappointing. Despite the hotel's beautiful atmosphere, the staff were unfriendly, nasty, and even racist. They were not welcoming or kind, which made our stay unpleasant. If you're looking for a place with good customer service, I wouldn't recommend this hotel."

Stayed for 5 nights and found the hotel to be both an excellent position to view the wonderful sights of Florence, whilst also being in the slightly quieter part of the city, and fabulous inside with a large room and good facilities. We stayed in a junior suite which has a small living room area with a sofa. the room was immaculately clean throughout with a very large bathroom. The view from the room was over the adjacent square and it was good to be able to open the windows and enjoy the fresh air. Breakfast was always good, food was hot and the service was very attentive. There was never any shortage of the various different options and no big queues being a small boutique hotel. We didn't use the spa, although we had the option to use for 90 mins every day, however it looked very well maintained and seemed very relaxing from other guests experiences.

The property was lovely. A former 15th(?) century monastery located on a hilltop overlooking parts of Florence. Surrounded by olive and fruit trees, and gardens. It's past the Roman gate, about a 30 euro cab ride from the center of town. Though they didn't tell us until we asked, there's a shuttle that will take you down the hill to the Roman Gate where taxis and busses can be found. We arrived just after the hotel restaurant had closed for the afternoon by a minute. They were kind/professional enough to serve us something from the cold selections; and it was delicious. The breakfast buffet the next day was outstanding with excellent selection and quality. The usual 3 or 4 hot items: scrambled eggs, breakfast meat, roasted tomatoes. Where it really excelled were the cold items. Fresh juices, local yogurts, fruits, meats, cured salmon. Perfectly executed pastry, and breads with honeycomb stood out. Dinner was a mixed bag. The big downside was that we arrived in October. Apparently, the property has to commit each year to the local authorities when they will close the pool, and switch from A/C to heat in the rooms. We booked through Expedia and therefore information on things may be incomplete. No mention that the pool was closed. It was almost worse that it was too warm to sleep well at night. We had even contacted the front desk after the first night and they said they'd send someone to look at it. Which we learned later made no sense BC it was off for the season.

Après une mauvaise nuit dans un appartement de location nous avons trouvé ce merveilleux hôtel pour la suite de notre séjour.Nous avons été accueilli par Alessandro de façon incroyablement chaleureuse et il a su nous mettre à l’aise.Le petit déjeuné et une visite au spa de 50 minutes était inclus dans notre séjour.Beaucoup de choix dans ce petit buffet servi dans une très jolie salle à dîner de ce Pallazo qui possède une charmante cour intérieure.La chambre qui est petite est parfaitement bien aménagée et confortable.Peignoirs,serviettes et draps de lit sont agréable.Je recommande cet hôtel sans hésiter

Very clean room! Smelled amazing! Loved the products that they had. Front desk was very friendly and very helpful they gave us really good recommendations and advice to stay away from tourist traps which was greatly appreciated! Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others! They also have bikes on property that you can use if you would like to explore a little bit more of the city!

Staff were very friendly and you could actually have a conversation with them ( made you feel welcome). Hotel was clean and had character ( nice high ceilings and a great old fashioned lift). Breakfast was good and roof patio terrace was nice to relax out in the evening. Close to the train station
