Was disappointed on check-in to discover complementary breakfast buffet advertised unavailable; as well hotel was tardy in responding to my inquiry about a schedule and I ended up taking a taxi from the airport. Other than that the staff was excellent and the room met expectations. Due to my medical condition as a result of cancer radiation I requested extra bundles of drinking water and was told that though they normally charged for this one example since it was too late to go out they would provide two complimentary bottles. When a hotel is located in a city where the drinking water is unsafe for its guests they should not be charged and anytime for essential service is like water! The location was good and I had researched it before booking to ensure that fact. Nairobi is in exciting City and like me many people come to it but when clean drinking water because an expense there's something fundamentally wrong with the philosophy and policy of the establishment; I have stated other Swiss hotels and never had this problem. The balcony was a nice touch even though it faced into other buildings it was still unique and the bar man provided me with a glass of ice when I requested it, after front desk staff manager told me I would have to pay for a bag of ice even if I collected it myself and did not need it delivered . Would recommend Nairobi safari Club managedment reviewed their ice and water policy for foreign visitors otherwise I would hardly recommend this a establishment.

I arrived using a walker and the reception staff was very accommodating and came to me, sitting in the chair rather than standing counter. Throughout my stay They were very responsive. They checked in to see how I was doing when I informed them that I was not feeling well. They always had a smile on their face and went above and beyond.
