Stunningly beautiful hotel and grounds, friendly and helpful staff. Well appointed, clean rooms. Took a while to get anywhere from there though.

Only there for a night but it was all perfect. Would definitely stay there again.

Very good hotel. Our issue was that all the lights broke in our room and we had to move rooms at 10pm

Our room was facing the Main Street so at night you could hear loud noise from outside. For whatever the reason, a lady at the front desk wasn’t particularly nice to me and almost avoided checking me in. The other front desk staff seemed very helpful. Breakfast was great. My son thought it a bit boring and not interesting but I thought it was great. I had an excellent cappuccino with oat milk each morning and salad bar was super fresh and delicious.

Great hotel, but without staff

I loved everything about the hotel. I have travelled extensively and have never stayed in a hotel that I liked more than The Grand Hotel Oslo

Sommerro is a modern, well-designed five-star hotel in a convenient location — close to public transport and walking distance to the harbor. The hotel has good dining options, and the breakfast was excellent. A great choice for a comfortable stay in Oslo.
