Nice location - easy walking to train, along lake ( both directions) and dining options
Older building needing some upgrades (eg outlets for the floor lamp and coffee maker!)
Lobby a bit tight, and understaffed at checkin.

It was a beautiful hotel with a lot of history. Very traditional, look with many amenities and great restaurant. The views from the room of Lake Lugano were breathtaking. I would strongly suggest this hotel if you’re staying in Lugano.
