The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the town square with a few souvenir shops, and many restaurants. The papal summer residence is also a few minutes away, It’s an interesting site to see. Breakfast on a patio overlooking the lake was lovely except when a garbage truck came by and destroyed the peaceful ambiance. I wish the breakfast included more healthy items. It was mostly sweets although the staff is happy to bring out yogurt or eggs from the kitchen. Our room was simple but comfortable. It was great to have a little balcony overlooking the lake.

Breakfast didn’t have items that I’m used too. Didn’t have scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon, orange juice etc. But I understand this isn’t the U.S.., Overall this is a very clean villa. The staff were very nice and helpful. For others who may not know. This villa is 30 minutes from Rome airport. A taxi will cost 158 euros = $184.34 plus exchange rate. This villa is an hour away from Civitavecchia port. The cost 202-210 euros plus the exchange rate if you don’t have euros. This is no fault of the hotel. But many people post this villa is close to Rome airport and it is NOT.
