Sant'Antioco Island Golf Holidays

All the staff are excellent. Hotel is very clean. Room was lovely and the AC is very quiet. Our room had a balcony too, which we hadn't expected. Mini bar fridge broke down, but was replaced within 48 hours. We arrived late at night and had a pizza in the restaurant, which was really nice. Breakfast had scrambled egg as a hot option, plus cold meats, different cheeses, fruit, etc. Croissants were lovely, as was the coffee which was fresh to order. The pools looked nice, however the bar isn’t open until 3pm. But I gather the reception staff can pop up and do simple drinks There's a supermarket downstairs, which is convenient. And the petrol station next door, has a bar along with a 24 hour machine. You'll need to put your driving licence in it for over 18 purchses. Overall, very nice, very clean and lovely staff.

We were here for the second week of a two week Italian vacation. Resort was breathtaking. Well maintained and served our needs as we had hoped. Morning breakfast buffet is included and did not disappoint. Everything from smoothies plenty of fruit dairy and breads. Omelette station was very good. My only disappointment was the very overpriced dinner buffet. We stayed in one night and for $70 a person not including drinks the value received for the fee was poor at best. I would suggest anyone staying here to walk the 1 mile to the marina and pick one of the two excellent restaurants. We ate at Delia three times and for $60 we got a three course meal with desert and two drinks for $60. Much better value. Other than that this resort is outstanding.

Chill ambiance - nice spa services - splendid beach views.

Beautiful location with property overlooking view to beach. Room comfortable and nice. Entertainment in bar area at nights was great. Great breakfast. Dinner option is only at one restaurant on site. We ate there only one night and found it disappointing. Very tiny portions and nothing special about the selections we had.When compared with the exceptional breakfast the dinners are poor. Service is great though.

Such a gorgeous place with really nice staff and good food. Too bad we were only there for a night. It warranted another couple especially since they had spa services!

My girlfriend and I stayed for a long weekend and we were blown away by the immaculate hotel, world class service and delicious food and drink here. The beach is beautiful, gardens pristine and rooms immaculate. It was extra special as we got engaged out here and the hotel staff were exceptional in helping me create a private, memorable occasion for us. Special thanks to Francesca, Matteo and Diego for their exceptional service. La Villa del Re holds a special place in our hearts and we will certainly be back. Grazie mille!
