Great stay! Lovely staff :)

Lovely property in a great location. It was a very busy weekend and I had a single room at a very high price. The bathroom was just redone and spacious. The room itself was so tiny - not great value for money but I suspect at normal prices it’s better. You really have to be in bed if you’re in the room. Helpful friendly staff and good amenities (very nice towels and linens.

I typically use Expedia for accommodations and have found the reviews to be fair, honest, and accurate—but this property really misses the mark. I truly don’t understand how the reviews are so high, when really the property itself is outdated, and mediocre at best. This review is purely primarily on the property not service. The front desk is professional and truly care about the guests, the location is fantastic and the buffet breakfast was thorough and lovely. The property however—is massively disappointing and expensive for what you get. The noise level is unreal—DO NOT BOOK A ROOM FACING THE FRONT OF THE HOTEL. The club across the street blasts heavy music and bass until about 1:30 a.m. To our understanding this new club ChinChin opened a few months ago and the forward facing rooms a right above it across the street. The windows are NOT double panned so you will literally sleep above the club. Additionally, we booked one of the Elegant Exceptional Rooms and there was nothing exceptional. It was a VERY basic and small room ($500 a night for dorm room). I understand “small” in Europe as we travel frequently, but this room was just uncomfortable—see pic. The carpet throughout the property is heavily soiled and could either use a cleaning or replacement esp on the 7th floor. We addressed the noise with front desk but didn’t get a response from management which was even more disappointing considering the reviews and Small Leading Luxury brand.

This is a really good option on a separate island but everything is within walking distance. The best thing about this hotel is the outdoor area, lovely restaurant and the seating where you can relax with a drink, it’s very calm. That said, the rooms are very small, staff are not really interested in providing any service, on occasion some were rude. One thing to note is that in the long summer evenings there are boy racers who drive fast on Skeppsholmen island, causing a lot of noise. Would return only if the rate was decent.
