Very nice middle tier property within easy walking distance of the train station. Public areas were clean and the staff friendly and attentive. Rooms were quiet but in need of some maintenance and updating.

Strange service interaction at breakfast. Apparently I did not sit at the "designated" table for my room. There were number cards on some of the tables but I did not see at first. I can't imagine why this is even neccessary. I travel for business 3 months a year and have never seen such a system for hotel breakfast. This was a very big empty dining room with many tables and few guests. When one of the employees saw that I apparently did not sit at the very specific table, she made me pick up my food after I began eating and walk all the way across the room, maybe 25 meters to another table. What kind of service is this? Was that neccessary? Is it how you properly treat a guest? I'll remind you that the giant room was nearly empty from the time I arrived and left. She did this in a cold manner. Throughout the rest of the 20 minutes that I sat at the "correct" table, never saw another employee to ask for coffee. This is not anywhere near the level of service I would expect from a 4 star hotel and for this price. Will be certain to avoid this hotel when I return.

Excellent hotel, nice and clean. Reception and bar staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, we did find the cleaning lady to be rude when we extended our stay, which is the only negative I could give the hotel. Hotel is well located, could reach the centre and the train station in 15 minutes or less, lots of shops in the surrounding area too. Highly recommend.

Beautiful setting. Upgraded to a lovely old cottage - large room, direct access to garden, elegant decor, big bathroom , first rate a/c. Excellent poolside restaurant, quality breakfast in sunken grotto. Secure underground onsite parking. Only minus was lack of lighting in room - only 2 bedside lights - other main light switched off after a few seconds, no way to keep it on.

Excellent location. Beautiful swimming pool in the basement among the Etruscan ruins. Friendly staff.

Very quaint hotel in the heart of everything!! Super sleek and charming! We absolutely loved it. Air conditioned well too in this heat!
