Convenient for quick stay with long layover. Dated interior and strong smoke odor. Not many staff speak English, though all are friendly.

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better stay at Kordon Hotel Pasaport. From the moment I arrived, the service made me feel genuinely cared for. The manager is truly exceptional: she is kind, attentive, and effortlessly professional. Not the scripted kind of hospitality, but the real kind. The kind that makes you feel safe, welcomed, and seen, especially when you’re traveling and need that grounding energy. The location is absolutely perfect safe and beautiful. You can get anywhere in İzmir easily from here, and the view of the Agean Sea is simply unbeatable. Sitting by the water, watching the city breathe; it adds something special to the entire experience that you don’t forget once you leave. The buffet-style Turkish breakfast was also wonderful, fresh, generous, and thoughtfully prepared. A beautiful way to start the day, every day. I think I found the place every time we visit Izmir! I wish I knew indoor pool was under construction before I booked. It was the main reason I picked this hotel. Otherwise hotel is overpriced for what it offers.

The rooms were kept clean, the breakfast, especially the personnel made inlets wonderful, the staff was there for us, especially getting that 4:30 AM shuttle. But we want to give an especial shout out (a good thing) to Hassan the barber, who is a wonderful man who gives great haircuts, even after doing haircuts for over 50 years. Yes, we would definitely recommend others coming to Izmir to stay at this hotel.
