Rangárvallasýsla Kid friendly Holidays

The room was very sparse for what we paid, and lacked any type of refrigeration or a kettle or coffee making facilities. The person at reception indicated there was coffee and hot water available however, there were no cups available at reception or in our room. The room was comfortable enough and we were able to find parking. It is quite a distance from Reykjavik however so it’s not walkable. The breakfast had breads, cereal, yoghurt, boiled, eggs, ham, cheese, cucumber, and some sliced fruit fruits. It was, however very, very busy and very, very loud in the breakfast area. The staff did a phenomenal job cleaning up after the hordes of hungry travellers. Considering the high prices in Iceland, this is a good value option, especially if you eat a substantial breakfast.

The breakfast was good. This hotel is in a great location to walk to anything you may need. I would absolutely book another stay.

We had an extra early morning and didn't get to have the full complimentary breakfast. Great location made it easy to walk to everything we wanted to see.

Very accommodating staff.

Stayed for one night while on a layover. Very expensive to get too although the shuttle back is free. Beautiful location, room could have been cleaner but not bad at all. Loved the cozy vibes in the lobby area
