Lettermullan Kid friendly Holidays

The hotel is nice enough, and in a decent location to have quick access to Galway. We requested a king room; we’re not sure why there was a king bed plus two other single beds in our room. That wasn’t a problem, but it was very odd. One big item that made us quite unhappy: a total lack of hot water for a morning shower. I can only assume that too many people are getting ready and their hot water just can’t keep up. It was not a pleasant surprise and staff didn’t really seem to care too much. Also, be aware the parking lot in front of the building is very limited, and with very tight spaces. There may be more parking in the back; we didn’t need to check.

This was a lovely hotel in athenry. The rooms are a bit small, but clean and tidy. Food was very good and staff were friendly and helpful. Great place to stay.

The very clean property, fantastic staff and breakfast service is awesome.

The Hawthorn is a destination hotel, gorgeous decor, fantastic staff, super location, drop your bags, breathe and relax. Plenty to do on the grounds with a gorgeous golf course and fantastic walks, or indulge in the spa. Sure sign of a great hotel is when you don’t want to leave and I didn’t!
