The hotel smells bad so the staff constantly sprays this air freshener around that smells like bug spray..the towels r frayed and have holes in them..my single room was very small and so was the shower..there is a big hole by the front steps that is dangerous..8 steps to get into the hotel..the breakfast was OK.

This hotel is definitely off the beaten path away from the main part of Amsterdam, nice and quiet residential area. Not a lot of options for restaurants in this area, but the metro is a short five minute walk that can take you into town. Beautiful property upscale, tech forward, and funky started off a disappointment, but ended on a high note. Room was hot when we first checked in, 75F, you do have access to the climate controls but that’s an illusion, the property is very eco friendly and they control the climate. We ended up asking for a fan to move the air, to cool it down and make it more comfortable. One of my pet peeves while traveling are properties not spending the money on a good pillows, asked housekeeping to bring us another set, which were brand new! We also had issues with the refrigerator but maintenance was able to fix it, so again a win! We enjoy the Ruby line of boutique hotels and recommend staying at this property if you don’t mind the travel into the city and want a quite stay.

Lovely place to stay and quite near the train station. For daytripping on the train it is a great location. Points of interest within Amsterdam were rather far away for walking and the closest tram stop was also a hike. But a canal tour was very nearby.

A beautiful old-world hotel with incredible character. The atmosphere was timeless, and the staff and service were absolute perfection from start to finish. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable, classic stay
