They had ibuprofen cuz I didn’t bring any. They took in my lost luggage when the airline delivered it. They unclogged my shower drain when I told them to. Cozy hour iced tea was great.

The room was very clean and cozy. We liked the location and the staff was nice.

The staff, the room, and every Icelandic person we have met was wonderful! The hotel is perfectly located and the room with the kitchenette was wonderful, cozy, and extraordinary clean!! We had the best trip here!

Rooms were cleaned daily and well done. The staff was courteous, friendly and accommodating in addressing any issues and inquiries. The spa was lovely and well maintained. We had an awesome and enjoyable time as a result.

Finding lodging in Iceland isn't easy on a budget. So when I saw this "relatively" low priced guesthouse, I must say I wasn't expecting much. What a great surprise it was! It couldn't have been any cleaner. No carpets anywhere (carpets in hotels are rarely fresh and clean). It was extremely quiet. There was a balcony. My friend and I were in a room with a shared bathroom and there were only 3 rooms sharing the bathroom. Walking out the front door the big church is just a block away and in full view. We didn't communicate often with the staff but when we did they were extremely pleasant, helpful and accommodating. Everything that we'd wanted to see and do was within 5-15 minutes walk, so perfect location. If I'm ever back in Reykjavik I'll definitely be staying here and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Great location walkable to many sites. Minutes to restaurants Pubs and Theatre. Bery clean and check in and out were easy.

GREAT LOCATION! Affordable! This is my 4th visit to Iceland and out of all my stays in Reykjavik, I liked this location the best. Staff friendly and sociable. Can’t wait to come back! The only negative was the shower curtain was gross at the bottom of it.
