Great stay in a landmark old world hotel, every person we encountered was friendly and welcoming. The suite we had was great, comfortable and huge. I would say the hotel has a few things outdated, without some of the things we’ve become accustomed to for a 5 star property, almost to the point of being charming.
Classic old world kept clean and fresh with impeccable service. Not stuffy….but
men cannot wear shorts/athletic apparel to breakfast, if that sort of thing turns you off, I’d say this isn’t for you.

Loved the location and pleasant, helpful staff. The comfortable Room was well layed out and appointed. I particularly like that the hotel arranged a well priced comfort car for me to go to Newark airport.
