The hotel was amazing , all the staff were very friendly and professional, very helpful, every single staff member were smiling all the time, even when they had worked a lot of hours, nothing was to much trouble for them, right across the board, restaurants staff, bar staff house keeping staff , entertainment staff, all of them an amazing team that made our hoilday perfect . It was our first time going to a Riu hotel and we will certainly be going back, I work in hospitality so I know how hard it is , and I could tell that the staff all mix in together brilliant and thank you for an amazing time with entertainment every night perfect . Hotel RIU PALACE . The best Tenerife.

Everything was great

We stayed for 5 nights at the end of September and the hotel is more like a U.K. 3* than a 5* Good value for money for how cheap it is for an all inclusive. Just needs updating and I would request a pool view room as the front rooms were noisy late at night. Very clean hotel to be fair but just in need of a refurbishment.

Almost everything was excellent. Small problems at front desk was basically very courteous and tried to be helpful, but when we need guidance for travel - gave instructions that didn't work, and had difficulty helping us when we returned from unsuccessful attempt to take the bus they recommended. Also, at our early morning check-out, the front desk person seemed overwhelmed although eventually he was able to help. The "concierge" person basically shrugged his shoulders when we asked him for help.

The service was not good. It was confusing going back and forth to our room. Some of the staff were not helpful. The breakfast could have been better. Lunches and dinner were fine.
