Hoogezand-Sappemeer Luxury Holidays

A fantastic gem of a hotel! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed in the 3rd floor apartment - which was very spacious for 6. I will say coming from North America THE STAIRS are something to behold (I believe they at 51°) so we all definitely got our leg and glute workouts. But because we were on the top floors we had windows that fully opened on the the canals - and what a beautiful sight!!!!! The hotel is very close to some excellent restaurants, and was super close to the main business area of town (downtown and red light district). All in all I can not say enough nice things about the hotel.

Very central and surprisingly quiet room. But the room was tiny the pictures are misleading to show how tiny the room is. The bed had 2 single matts which kept sleeping and I kept ending up in the middle. Then they demanded 50 euros extra for city tax which should be accounted in the price and additional approx 100 pounds for damage deposit? I still haven't received this back and again this demand should be declared. In summary a very central but below average overpriced hotel. 3 stars maximum.

Everything about this property is unique and next level. Right away the staff was great and got us acquainted with our room and gave us a small tour of the property. Nicknamed the garden room, our room was themed after a doctor that created the modern hospital. In it, was a marvelous (and kinda creepy) life sized metal skeleton artwork. The shower area opened to a private patio where we ate the delicious included breakfast. And the highlight was the trick bed, that hid the nightstand, safe, coffee bar, refrigerator, and 55” tv. Overall great location, amazing and friendly staff, and very good recommendations for food and our boat tour. It’s about a block from a street trolley station which took us conveniently in the two directions we always wanted to go. Stayed in hundreds of hotels throughout the years, this is top 5 because it’s so weirdly awesome.

It is a very nice hotel and the staff is very nice but our AC was broken so they had to manually bring one in, and the window had to be open at all times. Also the showers draining system was not good at all. Otherwise the outside area was very nice and very clean

El desayuno es extremadamente caro para la oferta. El baño de la habitación, lo intentaron hacer tan moderno que es un auténtico anti diseño. Cuando te duchas tienes que salir mojado para tomar la toalla y secarte al lugar donde ya tienes el aire acondicionado, perfecto para pillar una gripe. No me gustó la habitación en cuanto a funcionabilidad.
