Honestly, this is a great place to stay not too far from where all the fun stuff is in Ksamil. There's beaches nearby, and the hotel is a 20-minute walk from the more famous beach clubs (expect some walking in the heat if you don't have a car). The staff are truly amazing, helpful, and genuinely kind people. They are super helpful, very communicative, and the cleaning crew are so good as well (considering how dirty rooms get near beach towns from the sand and the water). Thanks for having me.

I stayed at this 5-star hotel in Sarandë, Albania, and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. The hotel itself is very big, beautiful, and has a lot of potential, but the management and organization are far below the standard expected from a 5-star property. From the moment we arrived, we noticed problems. We were given only one room card even though there were two people staying in the room, which is very inconvenient. The room also did not have a smart TV, only a basic television, which does not match the expectations of a 5-star hotel. The communication with reception was one of the biggest issues. Every time we tried to call reception from our room, the line was always busy, and we could not reach them when we needed help. We had to go downstairs every time to ask for assistance. When we asked staff questions, we often did not receive clear or accurate answers, which made the service feel unprofessional. For such a large hotel, having only one elevator is completely insufficient. Guests have to wait a long time, especially during busy hours. The hotel is not well prepared for the number of guests it accommodates. The breakfast was also a major disappointment and definitely not at the level expected from a 5-star hotel. The choices were very limited and did not offer the quality or variety that guests expect from this category of hotel. When the breakfast area becomes crowded, there are not enough comfortable places to sit, and guests may end up sharing tables

When I first checked in, I was put in a room on the lowest floor. There were stairs with no access to lift for that floor. The room was dirty. Fridge was dirty. Bath was dirty. The AC also was dirty and caused me to have allergies. The front desk staff sounded polite and seemed like they were helping, but I was wrong- The manager they spoke to over the phone asked which country I was from (as if this was important to fixing the issue). They also laughed after she made a comment (though I cannot say if this comment was derogatory or aimed at myself and my party). We decided to check out and that’s when they mentioned there was another room available but was not sea view like I booked (this is after telling us the hotel was fully booked). The room was much smaller, was not sea view, but was much more modern and much cleaner. I was gutted knowing that I paid for a premium room, but got an outdated and dirty room. Apart from the native, the beach was okay (lots of pebbles and sharp rocks, but was okay). Breakfast was quite limited but does the job. Overall, would not book this hotel again and would not visit Albania ever again- though it is hit or miss, some locals are friendly to foreigners, but most are very rude and aggressive and shout a lot (though I think this is maybe related me myself being a black man, so this might not be the experience of lighter skinned folks).

Awesome place to stay! The staff here made our stay here memorable. So kind and over the top nice, accommodating, went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. We stayed on the top floor, it was newly renovated with a new elevator, new jacuzzi, and modern rooms. Everything was so clean and well kept. Beds were comfortable, right in the middle of town with many beaches to walk to and unlimited food and shopping.
