Lovely hotel central location, but omonia are itself is a little rough around the edges. Staff were amazing and very attentive. Pool is a massive plus in the extreme summer heat but there's a massive lack of beds. They are beautiful beds when you can get one though! Rooms are very small with almost no hanging space and extremely dark, beautiful design but not really practical. Room definitely had drainage issues and frequently smelt bad. People smoking on the balconies and by the pool is awful too. Breakfast is incredible, drinks and happy hour are awesome and the staff really are awesome. Great value for money in summer just a bit rough around the edges.

Clean and comfortable hotel. No front desk staff was a bit of an issue for us…..we aren’t use to the all digital type room and building entry. Once we got in and in our room it all worked out. We had stayed previously when it was under a different setup and enjoyed it so much that we wanted to return with our family. Location is great with close proximity to train, major sightseeing and places to shop and eat. We will definitely stay there again when we return to Athens.

Do not cave for their "promotional upgrade" with access to the executive lounge and room upgrade-such a steal of money! Our room was upgraded to a crappy view of the alleyway (no view) and the executive lounge is by FAR from "executive". Be prepared for bottled red or white wine, 1 kind of canned beer and very limited chips served in a bowl (good luck trying to get anymore). There is no one staffed in the lounge and impossible to get more to drink. Everyone we encountered while our 4 day stay here was so unpressed by the lounge as well. Not sure why there is. fully stocked bar but no access when they upsell it at check-in. Also, the only time you have access to the lounge is between 4pm-7pm. The pool area is very tiny, so be prepared for the crowd. The pool staff also check your bags when they are unattended (if you are in the pool etc.) for outside food and drinks. The breakfast was okay with a good selection of items-probably the only highlight of staying at this hotel.

Fantastic staff! People make all the difference. Kind, genuine, service oriented with heart! A little dated but maintained. Beds were fantastic. Room held temperature, and outside heat stayed outside because of their room windows and door. Breakfast buffet was is a must, and their quant lobby restaurant has tasty good-size portions. Friendly bell staff and taxi drivers they flagged for us. Very central.
