This was a nice hotel. It had a great location and staff were attentive.

Clean room, nice bar and good location. However the hotel bar was shut before midnight on a Saturday which was disappointing. The pool is not included which is misleading. It has particular rules, swimming cap and professional swimwear must be worn and additional charge for guests. I tired to find information about the pool before we arrived. We could not use the facilities with the swimming costumes/shorts we had, we were advised to buy the suitable items at the pool.

Our room was large with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean and had a tub and shower. The hotel desk staff was very helpful with making travel arrangements for our further travel. The hotel lobby was well appointed. There were many chairs and tables for visiting and for reading quietly. A great place to stay.

The rooms are enormous and the service from all staff was really a 5/5. Free spa amenities wet and dry saunas, hot tub, pool with nice robes and slippers provided with the room. There are only 22 rooms so they get to know each guest very quickly. Great stay and would highly recommend.

We have had four family ski holidays staying at Madame Vacances Hotel Le Mottaret and we have always very much enjoyed our time here. The very helpful and friendly staff are excellent. The location of the hotel is right next to the slope just a 30 second stroll from the hotel entrance. There is an excellent ski equipment hire shop on the premises which is very convenient and the shop staff are very helpful. The lounge/bar area is very comfortable and cosy after a day on the slopes, as well as the very soothing jacuzzi located outside at the front of the hotel. The swimming pool/ spa area is also very relaxing and complete with jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. We stayed on a half-board basis and the buffet breakfast is fantastic and each evening there was a different theme for the buffet dinner. We really enjoyed every meal! Our room was clean and comfortable with a bath and shower. We would thoroughly recommend a stay here and will soon be booking our next stay here in January 2007.

I stopped over en route for England. Hotel has facilities I didn't use. Restaurant food very good service most helpful.
