This is a mid range hotel that could benefit by some updates. It is quiet and centrally located but a 15-20 minute walk from the historic old town where moat of the good restaurants are. The staff is fantastic and really helpful. The breakfast is excellent.

The resort itself is absolutely beautiful and the view is amazing but you have a lot of extra add ons such as a fee to use the cups in your room also having a car is very useful transport is hard to come by. The staff is very friendly and helpful!

The hotel is right on the lake and our room had a lake front balcony that provided stunning views of the lake and the mountains. The pool is a great amenity. The room was spacious and cheery. The staff that greets you is excellent. A shout out to Captain Roberto, who provides private lake tours by boat. My only negative is the restaurant. The dinner menu is very limited and the staff, while well meaning, was incompetent. Of 4 meals we had there, something went wrong with 3 of them, including sending back a steak that was ordered medium rare and was delivered well over done. It was replaced by a steak that was merely seared and uncooked. I should have sent that back as well. In other words, avoid the restaurant.

The Villa Serbelloni is a very beautiful and well-kept property, and has some of the most amazing views of Lake Como! Watching the sunrise and sunset were spectacular! The service at the hotel and its restaurants was excellent. The location is walkable to the ferries and the property has its own dock, where one can arrange for a private boat tour of the lake. We highly recommend the Villa Serballoni to anyone planning on visiting Lake Como. One of our best vacations ever!

The pool lounger system is the one major flaw here, and it needs fixing. Guests go out around breakfast, leave belongings on loungers, and effectively reserve them for the entire day - often while the loungers sit empty for hours. At peak times, this creates long queues, and you can expect to wait 1-2+ hours for a lounger (even though many sit empty) simply because others are hoarding spots. Management needs to enforce a clear time limit for unattended loungers and stop guests from “saving” chairs for friends or family who are not actually at the pool. The current setup is frustrating, unfair, and well below the standard of the rest of the hotel. Pool service also needs improvement. Food was delivered to the wrong guests several times, and some of our orders were incorrect. That said, we had an amazing stay overall. The rest of the property is excellent: restaurants and bars are lovely, the food and drinks are great, and the concierge, front desk, restaurant, and wider hotel staff were attentive, professional, and clearly experienced. This is a beautiful hotel with excellent service in most areas, but the pool operation is a serious weak point and should be addressed.

The hotel was so well maintained and nothing was ever too much trouble. They kept it so beautiful, grounds and pool area always spotless.
