Best things: room seemed “refreshed” with painted cabinets, flooring, bathroom, etc. very friendly and mostly helpful employees, especially check-in (took the time to go over Toronto sites on map), good customer service. Breakfast buffet had fresh scrambled eggs and delicious croissants. Mattress on bed very good.
Things that could use improvement: Our room was pretty hot when we first stepped into it (should have the A/C on for arrival). Toilet wasn’t very clean upon arrival and maid service was inconsistent. Refrigerator noisy. Need a full length mirror! Bad view, but not much they can do about that. Suggest having signage about getting dishes for kitchenette. Most hotels have a light filtering inner sheer window curtain, this one didn’t. Another table chair would be nice. Would’ve appreciated a few more vegetarian options at breakfast (cheese or veg sausage) and maybe add some bell pepper and onion to some of the scrambled eggs or potatoes to add flavor.
