I always enjoy staying at Preskil but I had a bit of a bad experience on my check in on Monday, 3 August. I arrived at 9h00 at the hotel and i know that check in was only at 14h00. We sat at the check in area the whole day and my room was not ready at 14h00. The communication was not so clear and if i have known it will take over the check in time i could have gone for a scrub at the spa that time. My 1 colleague had a room 2 hours before me and i sat there till 14h30 without knowing it will take that long. Tired and over it by then.

This was an excellent place to stay in the Grand Baie area, especially because of the wonderful staff. The property itself is nice and well maintained. We liked the half board package, breakfast and dinner were both delicious. The staff really sets this place apart. I wasn’t feeling well during our stay and they went above and beyond to accommodate room service food. We rented a car and parking was sometimes tight. The staff offered to help with parking which really alleviated stress. We’d highly recommend staying here in Mauritius!

The whole stay was fantastic. The only down thing was the restaurant choice was very limited. Only one restaurant (Italian) open at lunch time and 2 options at night time, one of them being the italian restaurant again. There was a 3rd restaurant near the pool but closed for reburbishing. This information was not available when we booked the Hotel. The food in the available restaurants was really nice, but we were missing a bit of variety after a few days.
Do not forget to bring your jellyshoes/water/diving shoes for the beaches
