9/10 Wonderful! (231 reviews)
The room was large and very nice with great amenities. We also really enjoyed going to the private and shaded garden with a glass of wine to relax in peace and quiet.

9.6/10 Exceptional! (557 reviews)
We got an upgrade to a beautiful room with fruit and water waiting in the room. A comprehensive breakfast was provided. The made to order items were good but not great. Our room had a bit of an eggy smell which I think came from the taps. We didn't notice at first as the drains were closed when we checked in. It didn't ruin the room but was a little off putting when you spend so much money on a hotel. We were on the top floor and had beautiful windows that could open up to the sound of church bells and views of nearby towers and the neighborhood. The staff went above and beyond and were very helpful and friendly. The location is perfect. Close to everything but not noisy. I'd probably choose something a little less fancy next time but I am happy with our stay.

8.8/10 Excellent! (531 reviews)
The staff were excellent and really helpful and kind.
The room was spacious and bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was tired with a loose toilet seat and towel rail and the light was a tad temperamental.
I think it would be beneficial for there to be an additional coffee machine or access to a kettle within the rooms, as the queue for coffee was substantial at breakfast time. Overall I would return to this property as we really enjoyed he location, the atmosphere and the friendly staff.
