Manga Soa is as close to paradise on Earth as you will find! It is a friendly, French-managed small lodge set in the most exhuberant tropical gardens imaginable! Every tropical flower & plant are found here. The managers, Roman & Ocean, are a competent, friendly can-do couple who can handle any request. Their staff is impeccably trained, yet friendly & personable. We loved the French-inspired food! With tasty tropical touches, every meal was a delight! The chef's brioche rolls were scrumptious! This is the perfect paradise! Each oversized bungalow is masterfully made from local hardwoods with true island touches. We loved the huge bed with crisp, cool linens. Lying in bed looking out over the Indian ocean is true luxury! The beach is beautiful but not always swimmable with the low tide. Ask Roman to arrange for their boat to take you to a reef or one of the nearby islands! Don't miss having a massage or 2! Prices are so reasonable & the ladies are very knowledgeable! We loved everything about our stay here and were treated like VIPs! It is a shining gem on Nosy Be. The road is now paved & it's a smooth & easy trip to the airport or Helleville.

The staff were very attentive and helpful, the pool was quiet and relaxing, the cabin had fantastic views and was very clean.

Staff were super friendly and gave us welcome drinks when we arrived. Food was really nice and they had a large selection of cocktails and mocktails. Only issue was sometimes they would make the cocktails ridiculously strong and the pillows were too hard/large for my liking

I recently stayed at this hotel and found it to have both strengths and areas that need improvement. On the positive side, the hotel provided complimentary bottled water every day, which was a thoughtful touch. The front desk staff were consistently warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. My room was spacious and comfortable, although the in-room safe was quite outdated and could use replacing. I also enjoyed the spa facilities, which were clean and well maintained, and the treatments were reasonably priced and offered good value. Unfortunately, there were several disappointing aspects. Although the property is advertised as waterfront, the beach itself was neither private nor clean. I didn’t feel comfortable walking barefoot because I was concerned about stepping in animal feces. The dining experience was also underwhelming. While the front desk staff were friendly, some of the dining room staff would benefit from additional training in service. The food lacked flavor, and the buffet seemed to cater primarily to Italian tourists, offering very little variety for other guests. The Wi-Fi was unreliable and remained weak even when using a booster. Overall, I did not feel it offered good value for the price. With improvements to the beach, food quality, dining service, and internet connectivity, it could provide a better guest experience.
