Didn't try the breakfast due to short of time.

Whatever I say about this property wouldn't suffice. I looked hard for a negative and couldn't find one thing lacking. We were left comparing this property to a 5 star property in Paris, and this property was much beyond even that! Comfortable, convenient, fantastic staff, drop dead gorgeous property, excellent amenities. Yes, it's heavy on the tab, but you feel like it worth every $ you spend. We stayed here at the end of our trip and it was a nice way to treat ourselves before the long flight home. A special mention to the comfiest beds which just envelopes you leaving you refreshed for the next day. My family thoroughly enjoyed the amenities which includes a steam room and a sauna. Didn't have time to use their spa treatments, but we will repeat if we are ever in this part of the town.

We stayed over at the Lloyd Hoxton for a hen do/bachelorette party in Amsterdam. We arrived at the hotel, just a short walk from the tram stop which was super useful. Sadly there was no signage from that side, so we entered the hotel through the restaurant. Check in wasn't smooth, struggled to find our reservation, stating that we only had 2 rooms instead of 3. When finally the reservation was found, only 2 rooms were ready and we had to wait for the other one. Also, we wanted to split the full amount between the 5 people who were travelling together, but the person in reception seemed to be fairly new and didn't know how to do this, also no one who was there with her in reception offered her any help to solve this matter. We ended up having leave a pending amount for the whole bill on a credit card and have to wait to pay during checkout. Out of the 2 rooms that were ready, one was as advertised (room 503). Sadly the other one didn't have aircon, which was awful during the heatwave, there was no water or milk in the fridge as the other one (room 512). The remaining room that was not ready yet, when it was available to go in, it was also missing water, milk as well as toilet paper. Due to the wait during check in, we received vouchers for a free drink at the bar which was nice. Sadly, when we tried to order a bottle of wine to share after our drinks were done, which never turned up even asking the waiters 4 times. Expensive hotel for it to be this poorly run.

Beautiful and modern hotel with a two minute walk to the train station and a five minute ride into the city. The rooms were beautifully decorated and clean. The front desk employees were very friendly and helpful and the bartender was great as well! We loved our stay here!

The hotel itself was beautiful. Our room was comfortable but the location was unacceptable. We had a first floor room that opened to a courtyard where bikes were stored. Our checkout experience was also unacceptable. Despite paying ahead of time they attempted to charge us again for the room and at a different rate.

Great location . Close to central station easy to get around on trams or subway. Rooms comfortable but not luxurious. High bath to climb in if older . Would prefer a walk in shower. Thought was expensive for lack of amenities eg pool and sitting area together a group. If location most important great choice!
